Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If you love the Tudor time period then it is essential that you read Autobiography of Henry VIII by Margaret George!. I love that book! It is basically The Other Boleyn Girl plus all of the other girls!.!.!. all told from Henry's POV!. Phillipa Gregory is indeed awesome!. Read anything by Margaret George! I love her writing style!. Mary Called Magdalene Helen of troy Memoirs of Cleopatra!.!.!.!.all good!. Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet is my other most favorite book!. Labyrinth by Kate Mosse and The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova are both good too!. As far as documentaries go, I am slightly Egypt obsessed myself! I like the civilizations that are no longer in existence, I think they are the most interesting!. Www@QuestionHome@Com Through a Glass Darkly by Karleen Koen was really good, and she has a couple other around the same time period, 1500s England!. also, In Lucia's Eyes by Arthur Japin was a good one, and I just finished Labyrinth by Kate Mosse which I loved!
