I'm writing a story 1sr person, present tense! I have some parts to the story that sound good in this way, and bad if I do it 2nd person!.
I don't want to do 1st person, present tense anymore!. Now I want to write in 2nd person, past tense!. It it possible to change it!? So far I've got the first chapter in 1st person, present tense!. (I tried changing it, it doesn't sound very good when It's not the way it already was!.) You need to pick one way and be consistent!. I would recommend writing in 3rd person!. It's a lot easier, which is good if you are a new writer, which it sounds like you are!. I think you should try to rewrite your first chapter, sorry, over all it'll make it sound better!. Good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com Okay, I did almost the exact same thing with one of the books I was writing, except I changed it from third person to first person!. I would say start fiddling around with the story to make it better!. What I did was I changed every "she" to "I" and after I did that I read over what I had wrote (in the first person) and if it didn't look right, I changed it!. What I think everyone is thinking of is 3rd person!. I would not suggest writing in 2nd person or switching the point of view!. If you aren't happy with first person, then rewrite in (I suggest) 3rd person!. 2nd person is very confusing and difficult to write!. Www@QuestionHome@Com Umm, no such thing as second person!. My advice is to pick a tense and stick to it Maybe the only reason the beginning of the story doesn't sound good in the other tense is because you're just used to it in 1st person!. Good luck!.
