Question: Breaking Dawn!.!.!. on isle esme!?

Ok!.!.!. so the first morning on Isle Esme, Bella jumps out of bed and Edward gasps and turns around immediately!. Why did he do this!. Yes I am aware she didn't have anything on!. But he is her husband!. Was he trying to give her privacy, upset about the bruises and didn't want to see them, or was it something else!? I just don't understand!.

lol he gasps because he whole body was bruised! He only saw that her arms were bruised, and he was angry with himself, but when she got up, and he saw that her whole body had black and blue patches he gasped!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
