Question: What is this kids book series title!?!!?!!? I totally forgot! !?

It's about 3 kids (2 boys, 1 girl) who I think live in New England on an island I think!. They solve mysteries!.
I remember specifically that the titles always rhymed!! My daughter read the first one and absolutely LOVED them!!! Except she and I have no clue what the title was so she can't get anymore!!! I'm at a loss!. Please help!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i have no idea if this is right but could it be biff and chip books becase that has three main characters biff, chip, and kipper!? im sure biff is a girl but i know kipper and chip are boys Www@QuestionHome@Com
