It tells the inspiring, true story of a medieval Muslim scholar who overcame bouts of mental illness to develop the scientific method two hundred years before the Europeans learned of it—by reading his books!. These include the Canadian West series, Seasons of the Heart series, and others!. You will need to read them in order and some have several books in the series, like the Keepsake series and Love Comes Softly series!. She has also written several individual books about "Women of the West" Virtually all these are pioneer stories and she's an excellent author!. Check out Louis L'amour's "The Last of the Breed" and "The Walking Drum"!. Frank Peretti's "This Present Darkness" and "Piercing the Darkness"!. These are all excellent books by superb authors!. (Like 'A Child Called It') I'd recommend 'The Truth About Forever', or 'Dreamland' by her!. Those are my favorites!. You may enjoy the Twilight series, those are very popular with people who also enjoy Harry Potter!. Dan Brown's other book, 'Angels and Demons' is also very good, if you enjoyed 'The Da Vinci Code'!.
