The main thing I can tell you about movies based on books it that the books are almost always better than the movies!. I have seen some good movies based on books, but they almost never follow the plot as closely as I'd like!. also, they sometimes make things look very differently than I imagined they would when I read the book myself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The only good movies that were based on books that I've seen were Hakuchi and Ran by Kurosawa!. First one based on the King Leare by Shakespeare, second one - on the Idiot by Dostoevsky!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
