Question: Is This Wayyyy Too Cliche!? =]!?
like for a book!.
a ten year old girls best friends are two guys (shes kind of like hermione granger from harry potter) one of them being closer than the other) and they grow up together and then one of them (the one she was closer to) unexpectedly has a tragic death and she stops talking to her other friend and becomes really distant in the world!. Then five years later they (meaning her and the friend that she wasnt as close with) start talking again and discover how their friend "really" died

but of course it would have plenty more details and some more interesting stuff happen in the plot, i just don't know how to make it better/ less cliche!

thanks so much for your help!
and sorry if this is unorganized now, i'm just trying to make it up as i go along =] hehe i'm a little bored right now!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not really!.!.!.at least not from the books I've read!.!.!.If you are just beginning to write, I think it's fine if you begin by modeling your characters after other people or characters!.!.!.or, at least their relationships!. If the best way to describe it is to use Harry Potter as a model, then do so!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've got to admit, it is cliche, but I would still read it!. It isn't too cliche!. Just try not to make the ending too predictable!.
Hope I helped!.
