Question: Who's the main character in The Great Gatsby!?
in my opinion the narrator is the main character, because i think the reader is suppose to understand why the narrator thinks Gatsby (who is a dishonest man and a criminal) IS great!.!.!.

Nick (the "narrator") is NOT the main character; he's just the Greek chorus in the tragedy!. Daisy IS the main character; Gatsby would be nothing without his drive to win her!.

And if you don't know what a Greek chorus is!.!.!. it's time to do a LOT more reading, because YOU don't have the right to criticize ANYBODY!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
