Question: Suggestions for books to read with a particular theme!. !?

Hawthorne's The Scarlett Letter: The minister has a mental breakdown over guilt he suffers because of the baby situation!.!.!.

Les Miserables: Jean Valjean has a constant struggle between what is right and wrong, and while he constantly lies and does things that wouldn't normally be thought of as acceptable, they are all done for the betterment of others!. also the police officer Javert has a breakdown over ValJean's plight -- he ends up killing himself over the idea that he's been doing wrong in chasing Valjean for so many years when Valjean made early mistakes, but changed drastically into a good person!.

The Great Gatsby: Gatsby kinds of loses grip with himself over envy of a life he tries to attain but never can have the woman or the life he aspires to!.

The Catcher in the Rye: Holden Caulfield is a perfect character example of someone who is "loosing a grip on reality AND fighting himself mentally!."

Plot: Julius Caesar has just became a dictator, the people of rome feels that he has abused of his power, as well as his closest friends who happen to be senators, they come up with a way to overthrow him!. well i dont wanna give it all away but yah!.!.!.!.haha its a good book but hard to understand so i would just go to Sparknotes!.comWww@QuestionHome@Com
