um can someone tell me in the first chapter, the prime minister was waiting on a call!.!. WHO WAS IT!?!? and i know they had to reschedule the meeting!.!.cuz of fudge!.!.but who was he waiting for to call him!?!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

He was awaiting a call from " the President of a far distant country!.!.!."
Or at least that is what he told Fudge! He never really specified which country! So I guess we'll never know! But Id guess its probably the USA, because of the great ties between those two countries!.!.!.But this is pure speculation!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It isn't specific, I don't think!. It said "a president!." The whole thing might have been a sham by Fudge so that they knew that the Prime Minister is in his office when Fudge needs him!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well as you know Kingsley Shacklebolt was appointed as his aid, so I would assume he made the arrangements for the 'caller'!. There probably was no one calling, they were just making sure that he would be in his office when Fudge arrived!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was insignifigant really, but I think it was a scam by Fudge to be sure the Prime Minister was there to talk to Fudge!.
Another theory:
