Should I read the first and second Sisterhood books?

Question: Should I read the first and second Sisterhood books!?

I saw the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 1 and 2 in theaters without reading the books!. I thought the books were like the movies, so I decided to just go on and read the third book!. I finished it and saw that the second movie had concepts from the third book in it!. So now I know the second book must be completely different from the second movie!. Should I go back and read the first and second books or just move on to the fourth!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, read the books!.
They are brilliant!.
The first one is pretty similiar to the movie, but you really have to read it to sort of 'get' the second book!.
The 2nd movie has pretty much nothing to do with anything and is only based on the books, so I suggest you finish the series and read 2, 3 and 4!.!.!.I have read the first 3 but book 4 has been scrapped in my country (sob,sob)Www@QuestionHome@Com
