Question: PLEASE edit, is this a good short paragraph about Animal Farm!?!?!?
I have to prove why George Orwell’s Animal Farm is both a satire and an allegory!.
George Orwell's Animal Farm is both a satire and an allegory for many reasons!. (I need help with the thesis)
A satire is when you’re insulting an idea!. And Animal Farm seems to do just that!. It is a satire because it uses comedy to express a very real and serious aspect of life!. It can be read on several levels and present many life lessons!. Its also a satire because its making fun of humans, the russian/soviet government, and the way they did things!.
An allegory means the symbolism it represents!. The Pigs represent all the dictators that were in this world (ex!. Hitler and Stalin)!. All the other animals represent the people except for Nepolean, the boar, who is gradually gaining power from the overthrowing of Snowball and with his dogs!. An allegory because it is a metaphor about a farm society that represents the human society!.
Can you give me any tips!? This has to be very well developed, and its not!. Thanks!.

You are only telling and not showing!. What are the several levels!? What are the life lessons!?
Its also a satire because its making fun of humans, the russian/soviet government, and the way they did things!. Aren't the Russians and their government humans too!? Give examples of how a satire makes fun of humans!.

You seemed to spend too much time explaining what a satire and an allegory is instead of prove points as to why Animal Farm fits both!. You don't need to explain what the terms are, Just say Animal Farm takes on a satire form by the way it pokes fun of animals mimicking Communism!. Find some more examples to prove it's a satire!. On your allegory part you have some good examples but also get some other good ones in there!. Such as the pigs tricking all the animals in to overthrowing the humans for the good of animal kind as a whole, only for the animals to find them living it up in the humans house while they do all the dirty work!.
Just take each part and write a list (just like a shopping list) with examples for each category!. Then it's easier to write an essay around them!.

try to stockpile your data, look for things that would support your thesis!. it should include ideas, facts, parallels, significant details, apt quotations and so forth!. to make a good paragraph, you mainly need facts!. but try not to give all of the facts in the first paragraph!. take each main idea or fact or reason and expand it, to make a whole paragraph discussing that main topic!. so lets say that you want to talk about why animal farm is an allegory!.you don't want to make the reader feel like he is stupid!. assume that he knows what an allegory is and start off with a fact!. so lets say you go with the idea that the pigs represent all the dictators like you have written!. expand on that idea and explain the hidden meanings of that!. why they represent dictators and what is their purpose!. then go on to the all of the other animals and why they represent the the people!. so stick with one topic before you go to another!. i hope this helps!. if it doesn't sorry!. if you have time try reading the book writing with style, conversations on the art of writing by John R!.
