I had an idea for a story but I'd just like to get some opinions on it!.
So it takes place 10 years after book 5 (or whatever the last book will be) yeah and Percy, Annabeth and most of the rest of the characters have almost no part in it!.
So the Hero is not a GREEK demigod but he is a demigod!. An Egyptian one!. (Cause I was thinking!.!.!.!. if the Greek gods were alive in the western world!.!.!. why couldn't other gods still be alive in other parts of the world!.!.!.!. Makes sense huh!?)
ya so he is a son of Ra (and for those of you who don't know he's basically Zeus but he's god of the sun!.)
And for those Canadian's out there!.!.!. HE'S CANADIAN!!! It explains why no Satyrs have found him!. Ya so he and his school soccer team are going to New York and their plane crashes near Camp Half Blood!. In turns out another one of the team members (who is really good at soccer and he's from South America) and he's a half blood too but he's a son of an unknown Aztec god or goddess!. And the protagonist, Daniel, ya his best friend (Tyler) is a descendant of a Chinese war general (one of the greatest) and he has really good fighting skills but only against other people and he's pretty useless against most monsters!. He uses a really cool spear and has a crazy move called shield breaker that can break shields (obviously)!. But he has a really unique power because he is a mortal but because his ancestor is so legendary, he has the ability to see through the mist, but more importantly he can go into the Camp and he can be hurt my both celestial bronze and the silver weapon!. On the note of weapons, Daniel, uses an axe to be traditionally Egyptian, and at times it can be flaming since he's the son of the Egyptian Mr!. Sun!.
And the main bad guy is actually Set (the evil egyptian god) and he's trying to wage war aggainst the Greek gods, since he's jealous of how much land and power they get while every other god gets crappy land!. So is trying to convince some of the Aztec gods, other Egyptians and the Norse etc!. to get them to fight with him to overthrow the Olympians!.
There is gonna be some romantic stuff though!. Like the girl who Daniel has a crush on is kinda a demigod!. Cause both her parents are demigods but neither of them are gods!. Her grandfather on her dad's side is Hephaestus and he grand mother on her mom's side is Aphrodite!.
Yeah that's basically it!. There's some cool plot parts too but I don't wanna give everything awayWww@QuestionHome@Com
