Question: What did you really think of breaking dawn!? *spoliers* only respond if done reading!?
I think in general, it was an OKAY book!. not as great as the other threee i have to say!. I wasn't really rushing through to find the ending of it, it was obvious to me that the ending would have to do with beating the vollturi or something!. nothing excited me!. =l

1!. i hated/liked the idea that bella turned into a vampire!. i liked it because it sort of topped it off!. what i hated was that it happened waaay too early into the book!. I also hated the idea that she didnt really need edwards protection anymore, it kinda ruined the whole "romantic thing" between them!.

2!. i found it HILARIOUS when bella first noticed that jake imprinted on renesmee!. It was a good twist to the book, so uncalled for!. a great idea! now jacob could finally be happy =)

3!. i liked the sex/blonde jokes emmett and jacob used, it was a great way to add some mild humor to the book!.

4!. As for the ending, weeeell, im not sure what to think about it!. I mean i did like that it was a happy one, but then again, i would have liked a more sad ending, to make you feel more emotional at the ending XD i dont know why, but i like sad endings, you feel more into the story somehow when youre done =P ( i know this doesnt make sense, i just dont know how to explain it =P)

5!. overall, i thought this book was OK!. i still think eclipse was my favourite cause of all the action and romannce in it!. For some reason, this book really didnt top it off for me!. The big turn down was that bella was pregant and immortal way to early in the book, i think she should have used that in a way to end the story somehow!. I also hated that because she was immortal so early in the book, there wasn't any romance (the way edward would be so gentle, and protect her from everthing)!.

okok this is getting too long XD ill stop!. anyways, this is just my opinion!.

ps!. i loved that "renesmee" idea =PWww@QuestionHome@Com

I'm one chapter away but too bad, I'm close enough!. Besides, I can edit once I have finished if that one chapter makes that big a difference!.

Anyway, like I said in the post in which you replied to!. I have mixed feelings about the book!. I both liked it and disliked it for various reasons!.

Let's start with the bad half first, seeing as it is short(-er)!.

1!. I have to agree that the plot near the end was fairly predictable!. Something had to target them, and about the only thing left was the Volturi, since Tanya and co!. was out!.

2!. also, the fact that the plot was less centered around Bella and Edward after Renesmee was born was a little disheartening!. Many enjoy reading the kind of air of romance between the two and Renesmee kinda stuck there as a bit of a wedge!. We started to hear more about just Bella and Renesmee and Edward kinda dimmed out a little!. Additionally, why didn't Renesmee like Edward as much as Bella and Jacob!? That seemed a little mean on Edward!.

3!. I have to confess, I would have preferred there to have been a bit of a fight between the two clans, purely because it would mean excitement and a more in-depth view into the abilities of the other vampires!. The other thing I am not particularly fond of in Stephenie Meyer's writing is how she generates many characters but quite a few get forgotten for most of the time!. Like some of the vampires who were called as witnesses!. We heard their names, and their abilities, but we only had a peek into their personality (it would have been good if we had the full idea of what happened between the Romanians and the Volturi)!.

4!. This is a serious minor peeve but I found it rather annoying that Bella just slipped into New Born Vampire so easily!. I mean, it seemed a little out considering everyone else had problems!.

5!. For the amount of pages!. It was slow!.!.!.!. !._!.

Now on to the longer list of good things!

1!. It was funny in many stages, and I rather enjoyed Jacob's section of the book (mainly cause of the chapter titles)!. Emmett's Jokes were pretty good as was Jacob's blond jokes!. Not to mention the tension between Jacob and Rosalie, (Food in Hair, Ha!.)!. It lightened the feel a little!.

2!. Surprising nevertheless!. I seriously wasn't expecting Bella to become pregnant, nor Jacob to imprint on the baby!. I suppose he would have to, seeing as otherwise Renesmee would die and Jacob would then be targeted by Edward and Bella and it would be bad!. But still, that was a shock!.

3!. It was good how well the giving birth scene kept you in suspense!. Ok, to some of you, it was ew!. But I was fine with it!. You didn't know too well whether Bella was going to die or not!.

4!. Jacob's point of view! Wonderful idea!. It gave you more insight than just Bella!. And as much as I am a little more Team Edward than Team Switzerland, Jacob's personality was fascinating and Meyer captured it well in that segment!. You really felt for Jake!.

5!. Stephenie Meyer also did well in the imagination department!. I mean, ok, Renesmee was a little odd, but it was creative!. As was the abilities and as such of the half-immortals and the new vampires we meet!. Who could think up that in a little while!?

6!. It wasn't really as bad as half the people made out!. Which was a serious relief to me!. Jake wasn't really being sick!. The scenes weren't as bad as they made out!. And it was hardly an anti-abortion statement!. >_> It's fiction!.

7!. When I read the Jacob and Renesmee imprinting bit!. It seemed more perfect that I was expecting!. It was true that when I read about it in reviews, I was freaking out!. But Stephenie made it seem more acceptable!.

8!. No one nice died! I would probably have freaked if anybody in the Cullens died!.

Overall, it was ok!. I felt it was a little out of place compared to the other books in the series and honestly, I preferred any of the other three!. But it wasn't too bad!. I am expecting it wasn't an awful ending seeing as no one moaned about that!. It had a good plot (even if it did kind of lack action)!. Could have been better though!. So yeah!. Mixed feelings!.

Oh and thanks for responding to my question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i agree with your number 5!. When Bella turned into a vampire she was the one protecting edward with her shield!. There wasnt anymore romantic stuff!. no more gentleness!.!.!.instead all there was was sex!i mean come on, we get it that they can finally not have to worry about hurting bella but we still wanted a bit of romantic foreplay!. even though the jokes were funny also about bella becoming a vampire too early in the book sucked!. but whatever!. what done is done!. like every book in the world it had to have its flawsWww@QuestionHome@Com

definitely agree with you on number 5!. eclipse was my favorite out of all four!. BD was ok!.!.!.jake imprinting on renesmee was kind of ood!. i never got used to the fact that they can imprint on someone no matter their age!. xD
but overall BD was a good ending to the whole serisWww@QuestionHome@Com

Personally, I loved Breaking Dawn!. It is amazing how Stephenie pieced everything together to make this book!. All I can say is, this book took me off-guard!. WAY off-guard!.

I couldn't believe at first that Bella got pregnant!. She was once this clumsy, awkward girl who moved to Forks, WA!. Now she's this beautiful, graceful, powerful mother and wife!.

I used to really hate Jacob for interfering with Bella and Edward, but after reading Breaking Dawn, I got to like him!. He redeemed himself in my eyes!. He kept me entertained with his feud with Rosalie, his jokes and his thoughts!. I could really relate with him!. He helped in motivating me to keep flipping the pages!. I was dying on the floor from laughter!. =) I got used to the fact that he imprinted on his former love's first child!. I am just glad that he moved on, and he isn't suffering anymore!.

Some parts I did find predictable, like Alice and Jasper leaving!. I always knew they would come back!. There can never be a happy ending if they aren't there!. Sure, I'll admit Bella was a little out of character, but it's all part of being a mother!. I did want more Bella and Edward mushy scenes, though!. But what I read were enough to make me shudder, too!.

Well, you can't help Rose because all she wanted was a baby!. She never chose the vampire life!. But in the end, Rosalie and Bella's relationship doubly improved!. That was nice!.

I love Emmett, Edward, Alice and Jasper above all!. They rock, 'nuff said!.

Overall, this book kept me going!. I'm glad that everyone's at peace!. And let's cut Bella some slack, shall we!? This is her point of view, so let's give her a chance to shine!. She's always been the constant danger-magnet, clumsy and predictable!. In the Volturi scene, she was the one who protected her loved ones from the Volturi!. That was a total one-off!. So let's give her the spotlight for once!. It's always been about Edward or Jacob!.

1!. I liked that Bella turned into a vampire!. I would have gotten angry as if she didn't, lol!.!.I'd been waiting for that for sooo long!. Yeah, Bella now has no reason to stay with Edward, and he has none to stay with her, aside from Renesmee!.

#2!. Ew, Jake imprinting on Renesmee, I found that totally wrong!.!.he used to like, be in love with Bella!.!.ew!.

#3!. The jokes that Emmett and Jake made got old pretty fast, but it was a nice touch, I guess!. I didn't get half of the jokes, lol!.

#4!. The ending was a happy one, and it just makes me happy she's not gonna write another sequel!. That would just suck!. It sucks that it's over, but honestly, what would she have written about!? Renesmee &Jacob!? Ew!.

#5!. The book was okay!. It was weird how she changed the format to three books in one!. Bella pregnant!.!.what the heck!? I was so not expecting that!.!.I used to love Edward's gentleness!.

I found that Bella didn't have any problems anymore!. She got everything she wanted - she got changed by Edward, she got Edward, she got Jacob, she had sex before she was changed!.!.etc etc!. In the other books she had to make choices!. But in this one she got everything she wanted!.

I personally hated Renesmee!. I mean, it was a cool idea but it came out real bad I thought!. And like, if the baby was a boy she was gonna call it Edward Jacob!.!.that has some degree of normality!.!.she coulda just called it like, Renee Esme!.!.

It was a good book!. But Twilight is still definitely my favorite!. Then Eclipse, then New Moon, and finally Breaking Dawn!.

I can't wait for Midnight Sun :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

I liked the book, i was surprised how quickly she became a vampire, and having a baby also shocked me!.i thought that it was sort of boring compared to the others though!. I also like renesmee but i don't rly think that nessie is suitable for a vampire do you!? It sort of reminds me of a dogs name!. I was a bit disappointed that the volturi could be so easily beaten by just not having there gifts and more vamps then they are used to, i mean once you are inside her shield you can still you your powers can't you!? so i thought that that was a bit wimpy!.
Did you notice how the author was setting renesmee for the same story line as bella, Jacob and the other half vampire!? It is a bit boring to not be able to find another story line!. But i was glad for jacob!. The jokes were funny as i don't like rosalie vry much!. And the ending was too perfect it was not very realistic, they beat the baddie no one got hurt rly and it was sort of a pointless encounter!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I thought the book was OK too!. Definitely not as great as the first three!. BD was a book that I could easily put down and walk away from!. Bella DID get turned into a vampire Way to early and the imprinting thing makes SM seem sick and twisted because it's pedophile-ish!. Renesmee didn't fit in!. SM spends too much time rambling!. I expected a bigger fight scene, where they actually FOUGHT instead of talked it over!. It seemed like SM rushed through the book without putting much thought!. I was disappointed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I thought it was okay , but could've been a lot better as a series finale !.

1!. I found the fact that she found it easy to be a vampire just a bit irrating , because in the past three books , whole pages have been wasted on Edward telling Bella how out-of control new born vampires are ,a nd in the end , she isn't really anything like one

2!. This part was so funny!.

3!. I didn' get half of them (except for the Florida scoring one ) :)!.

4!. It was a bit anti-climatic , but I like how they were liuke a proper family now!. It was kind of like, closure

5!. I think New Moon's probably my favourite , but that might jt be because I'm a sucker for angst!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I loved the book a lot, because I was thinking before the release that it would really need some new themes, new conflicts, because the old ones have been thoroughly and minutely explored in Eclipse and previous books - Bella in danger from murderous vampires, Edward overprotective of her, Jacob fighting with her and making up, over and over!. Would you really be reading anything new if twists like Renesmee being conceived, Bella becoming a vampire, were not there!?

True, I felt very disappointed when Bella found out about the freakish pregnancy - classic twist in a forbidden love!. It creeped me out, and I was forever expecting Bella to get a rude awakening by giving birth to a scary monster baby!. BUT, looking past the disturbing growth and 'drinking blood' thing, I grew truly attached to this sweet, irresistible baby through the pages of BD!. I simply LOVED the scene in which the too-mature baby thinks of loving its mother and a stunned Edward hears it!. I got a huge kick out of Renesmee calling Edward 'Daddy'!. How cute is that!? I think, old-worldly as they are, Edward and Bella were perfectly ready to be parents, and make very good ones, too!. The relationship needed a new dimension!. They're still the lovesick couple, but with a twist!. I was pleased to see the changes becoming parents made to them, though disappointed in such a lot of romance and Edward's fatherhood experiences going off-page!.

But yes, Jacob's happy ending killed my pleasure of rereading Eclipse!. Sadistic, am I not!? I simply can't cry over his heartbreak and Bella's goodbye at the end of Eclipse, and I feel deprived of spilling tears!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
