The girl in the book called 'Go Ask Alice' died on accident because, if you recall, she was a loner and when she finally did find herself a boyfriend, she was trusting of him and he turned out to be a drug addict and while it doesn't state it one way or the other as to whether it was an accident or not, given the facts, she trusted him enough to allow him to guide her to try heroin (which was one of the popular drugs of the time, next to LSD or pot) for the first time!.

The book is actually based on a true life story of someone and there was a movie that was made out of it (I don't recall the exact name of it), but I'm sure if you type in Go Ask Alice by Anonymous in your web browser, you can find more information about her <!.!.!.and I read comments from at least 2 of your responses that seem to believe that it was a hoax and way to get kids to stay away from drugs, it may very well be, but it leaves you to think about it!.>

I read the book many, many years ago when I was in my senior year of high school for my Psychology class and to this very day, I can still recall that girl's sad and lonely life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
