Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Girl With a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier

Night by Elie Wiesel

Anthem by Ayn Rand

I would recommend them all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wide Sargasso Sea by Jean Rhys
The Day of the Locust by Nathanael West
Switch by Carol Snow (ARC)

If you read Jane Eyre (and liked it!), I would recommend Rhys' book!. It is her take on Rochester's first wife and their marriage!. Very well written!.

Nathanael West's book(s) are good, full of imagery, but lots of pathos!. Well written, but not for those who are easily depressed!.

Snow's latest novel (in stores next month) is good!. Essentially, it is about learning to happy in your own skin!. Teen girls will enjoy it; other readers may enjoy it for the fantasy aspects of it!.

Fallen leaves by Adeline Yen Mah!.
A long way gone by Ishmael Beah!.
Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell!.
I would recommend all of these books but mostly Gone with the Wind!. I believe it to be the greatest novel ever written!. Its a classic!
A long way gone is a striking story of a boy soldier from sierra leone who managed to escape, and writes about his experience and how he lost his entire family due to the war!.
Fallen leaves is an autobiography by a chinese woman who was raised in a very wealthy family but was unwanted!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

By the Grace of the Sea by Pat Henry!. I would recommend this one only if you are interested in sailing, and one woman's solo trip around the world in a small sailboat!.

Random Passage by Bernice Morgan!. Yes, I would very much recommend it if you like historical fiction!. I've read it several times!.

The Red Tent by Anita Diamant!. Yes, again I would recommend it if you like historical fiction!.

Www@QuestionHome@Com

The last three books I read were the Sally Lockheart Trilogy (It's actually a quartet, but I only read the first three) by Phillip Pullman and yes, I would recommend them!. Although, It depends what type of books you are interested in as to whether or not I would recommend them to you!.

The Ruby in the Smoke
The Shadow in the North
The Tiger in the Well
Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Blade of Fire(by stuart hill) really good!. Would recommend to any one who likes controversies mixd with Fantasy!.
The deathly hallows- Harry potter series, sure you've heard plenty about them!.
Eldest- Would recommend to anyone who read the first bood, Eragon!. Is very good and adventurous!. I've read it several times!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm currently reading "Fatal Burn" by Lisa Jackson!. It's ok - the story is compelling enough to keep reading to find out what happens!. It's one of those psychopath-stalking-a-woman stories, which I actually quite enjoy!. I have some issues with her writing style, though!.

Prior to that I read "Beautiful Lies" by Lisa Unger!. I loved this book!. Couldn't put it down!. It's about a woman who discovers that she might have been kidnapped as a small child!. She sets off on an investigation to learn the truth & you don't know who to trust!. I recommend it!.

"The Thirteenth Tale" by Diane Setterfield was also super fantastic!. It's about an aging famous author who's chosen to tell her life story to a biographer, so it takes place during the present and the past!. It takes lots of twists & turns & keeps you guessing!.
