The 3 books above with asterisks are the books that I really loved, that suit your description perfectly!. All the books I listed are good if not great, and kinda long!. I hope his helps :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
i agree, "Tuesdays with Morrie" is a great book, especially since it might impact some of her views on society (in a good way) which our culture is so keen on corrupting!. It might seem a bit "boring," but i still liked it a lot!. Stuff like "Into the Wild" and "Into thin air" is pretty good too!.
id encourage some classics too
catcher in the rye, to kill a mockingbird, on the road (lots of sex, parties, drugs but 15 is pretty old enough to handle it and it teaches a good lesson), etc
btw im a 17 male who also likes harry potter (however i dont enjoy reading as much as i used to but these books got my attention)Www@QuestionHome@Com
I would suggest '' You don't know me'' by David Klass!. He's not very well known but this book is brilliant!. Stunning combination of brilliantly sardonic teen observation, lyrical writing, and humour!.
Some of the scenes are laugh-out-loud funny, so the denoument comes as even more of a shock!. John's problems may get a bit melodramatic at the end, but by then the reader is so immersed in his character that it is moving nonetheless!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
"The Great Divorce" by C!. S!. Lewis is profound, easy to read, and inexpensive!.
"The Overachievers," Alexandra Robbins, is a good look into high school!.
"Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, is well-written, funny, and gives some good ethical examples!.
"Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians," Brandon Sanderson, is funny!.
"Soul Mates and Twin Flames," Elizabeth Clare Prophet, is good advice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
dreamland by sarah dessen!. pretty much anything by sarah dessen shes such a good writer!. and im thirteen and its not too mature for me so it should be perfect for your 15 year old daughter!. and the "pretty little liars" series by sara shepard are really great mystery books and tell the story of 4 girls and its really realistic!. i also enjoy meg cabot books and the gossip girl series is really good but it might be a bit too mature because it has a lot of sexual refrence!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Anything by Sarah Dessen (especially This Lullaby, Just Listen, and The Truth About Forever) is great!. I also love books by Meg Cabot (especially Avalon High and the Princess Diaries series) !. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson is truly one of the best books I've ever read!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
