Eleanor Alice Hibbert (nee Burford) used the pen name Victoria Holt!. She used many other names as well!. Mrs!. Burford died in 1993 at the age of 86 while on a Mediterranean cruise vacation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love her books, the last one published was in 2000, I think it was called remember!. No, that is not her name!.!.her name is really Elanor Hibbert, but she wrote under Holt, Jean Plaidu and Philippa Carr that I know of!. There is bound to be a few more I have never heard of though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Victoria Holt's real name is Eleanor Alice Burford and after marriage her name was Eleanor Hibbert!. She wrote under the names of Jean Plaidy and Philippa Carr
