Question: Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer Question!?!?!?!?!?!?

Okay so I'm reading Eclipse, and I have a question about it:

The newborn vampires are in Seattle, but I mean why d they take her scent and clothes away, and what is Bella trying to explain to Alice that Edward was wrong, and it was all a test!? I understand where they're getting to, but I just want to clarify it, please help me, easy 10 points!

They took her scent so that the newborns know who to kill - Bella!. It was a test because they are trying to get past the Cullens, the wolves, and Alice's sight!. If you keep reading, it will probably explain it a little more!. Hope this helps! Www@QuestionHome@Com

they took her clothes because she had worn them so they had her scent on them, which is essential for tracking her
it was just a test to see if riley, one of the newborns, would be able to get into her house getting past the vampires and werewolves

They took her scent to be able to "track" her!. You cant track a person if you dont know her scent!.
She's referring to the time that the cullens stepped over "the line!." It was a test to find out the limits of their powers!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
