Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well It was a combination of Jealousy and concern!.Jacob Was afraid that Edward might lose control and hurt Bella!.But later on in the book he says that he didn't want to imagine Edward taking root in something he loved so dearly so that's why I think hes jealous!. Jacob ends up imprinting on Nessie so he shouldn't have thrown that hissy fit!.Poor Jake thought Edward would hurt Bells but all in all everyone got what they wanted!.I am super happy Jake found happiness!.
