Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: maybe they do, but you have to admit the rabid obsessive twilighter fans are annoying, especially when they go 'LyK eDwArD iS LyK sOoOoOo HaWt!!!!!!' all day long!. (and i'm not saying everyone, although you can't deny that there are people like this who make you forget that not everyone's a little tweenybopper who apparently can't spell) but in the end, people get fed up with the same stupid questions over and over again, especially about stupid things that don't even matter 'how many seats are in bella's truck!?' 'edward or jacob!?' anyway, i've always respected other's opinions!. i won't hesitate to say that i dislike twilight for many reasons, most of them being related to it's female 'heroine' who can't do anything without her man (oh boy victorian england just would have loved that ) and the positive portrayal of what in the real world would be considered emotional abuse!. and i do say that some twilight fans can get annoying!. but i realize that people have their own opinions, and you really can't change anything much by telling them that they're stupid!. i cannot speak for others, though!. *celebrindal*Www@QuestionHome@Com I don't look down on Meyer's fans!. I might be annoyed from time to time, but to my knowledge I have never insulted them!. I simply don't agree with their tastes in books!. That's all!. I like good writing but I also enjoy books that are fun and maybe a little clichey, but that are entertaining, but I don't like books that have bad influences like perverts and pedophiles!. You seem to have a pretty strong opinion for someone who's "never read the books", don't you think!? And the title of your question is an insult in itself!. Self-satisfied snobs!? Please! LuthienTWww@QuestionHome@Com I could never tolerate a poorly written book, but one of my older sister's friends, who is very intelligent and has good taste, hated the writing but loved the book because of the character Edward!. I do tend to look down on people who worship the book as if it were the greatest ever written, which I know is wrong since they just place the greatest value on different aspects of books than I do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Oh, I thought that most of the people who are extremely hateful of them have read better - probably in the sense of classics or other contemporary work!.
