It's about this girl Lyra, who is an orphan and lives at a university in an alternative universe where every person has an animal "daemon" who is like a part of their personality!. She has all these adventures and finds out her uncle is actually her dad, and the woman who adopted her is her real mother and totally evil!. She had this bear friend who is the rightful king of the bears and he overthrows the king in the north pole!. also she has this fortune telling compass thing!. In the end her dad rips open a bridge to another universe and kills her best friend!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
