i know the too dont go together!.!.
but thats what me and my boyfriend are fighting about and i need some help!.!.
you see i like guys that have respect for women
you know the type that are like they'll never hit a girl no matter what!.!.and they'll never cuz at a girl that kinda of stuff!.!.
and i think those type of guys r very sweet!.!.and well
i asked my bf why he couldnt be more like that!.!.i said why cant you have respect for women!?!? and he says im sorry! i thought i did respect you!.!.in like a rude tone!.!. saying well i thought respect for a women was being nice to her and taking care of her!.!.and well my bf hits me some times and it hurts when were messing round and i wish he wouldnt do that!.!. and ive explained this to him and he gets all upset and says well u hit me why cant i hit you!.!.!.i just wish he could have a little more respect!.!.and he says im confusing him on what respect is now!?and he says well u dont respect me bcuz u txt with me on the fone and i find it rude!.!. and i say thats a whole different thing!.!.and its not rude!.!.and then hes like well i always do things for you!.!.why cant u do this one lil thing for me and not txt on the fone wen im talking to u!.!.and im like well y cant u do a lil thing for me and not care about!.!.bcuz it wudnt bug me if u did it!.!.and ya we started fighting and well he said its either the textn or me pick!.!.and im like if u luv me u wudnt make me pick over something so stupid!.!.and hes like if u love me u wudnt txt for me!.!.& he says u obviously would rather have a conversation with someone else then me!.!. i say well right now id rather have a conversation with anyone else but you!.!.and he says well go ahead!.!.and i just hung up!.!.
now tell me whos wrong!?!?
and what should i do!?

Both of you are right in different ways!.
For example, you texting to other people whilst he's talking to you IS rude - he's right!.
When you say that he hits you - how does he do it!? Meaningfully, or just jokingly!? Anyway, you say that it hurts - he shouldn't hurt you, so you're right in that he shouldn't be hitting you!.
Things should get better soon, after both of your tempers have simmered down, it's likely that you two will reconcile!. Give it a day or so!.
You two can make things better in the long run by sitting down and talking to each other properly!. If you want someone with more respect for you, either communicate this idea to him, or get someone else!.
Personally, I wouldn't stand for this behaviour and i would break up with him in an instant!. I too am a firm believer in a gentleman: someone who is more gentle and takes care of their girlfriend, but this decision really comes down to how much you love him, if you two are compatible and how much you want to stay with him!.
Do you and him fight a lot!? Forgive me by saying this, but I don't think that your relationship with him is very healthy, especially because both of you are so set in your ways, and refusing to change!. A relationship needs both people to be open to change: it's a two way street!.
If I were you, I would be thinking seriously of breaking things off, but that's just my opinion based on what you said you look for in a boyfriend!.

Ok so I think that boys/men or whatever you want to call the apes hit us woman because they feel we are the weaker sex!. And also they feel that we will choose them over anything and I think he was wrong because people should not be treated like that and he is just acting stupid! If i was you I would never talk to him again because he is just rude and stupid but!.!.!.if you still love him you should just sit down and talk about it say to him I do not like the way you treat me and say I should not have to choose between you and a phone!. Texting people constantly while you're spending time with someone is definitely rude!.

I think you're thinking of chivalry!. Modern usage considers respect for women to be treating them as equals!. The thing about hitting is worrying, though!. How hard does he hit you, and why!? Your both wrong!. He should respect you!.!.!. and you should also give him your undivided attention when he's talking!. I hate it when I try to talk to my friends yet they just text away, and it feels like they are ignoring me!. And it IS disrespectful!. That aside, get a new boyfriend if you want a man who will respect you, instead of trying to change the one you have!. My "friends" have tried to change me before, and it felt as if they were telling me I wasn't good enough!. So I got new friends!. AND you should get a new boyfriend if he hits you anyway!.
