Question: Maybe I'm being to harsh!.!.!.!?
I probably sound like a ***** but I honestly am a little annoyed here!.
I'm irritated when people post what they've written on this website, asking for opinions and then they go and say stuff like, "I wrote this in like 20min" or "I was really tired so!.!.!." Etc!.
What I'm thinking is, what do you want me to say to that!?
Oh my god you wrote it in only twenty minutes you ARE a genius! or, You were really tired!? That's pretty good for being so tired!
OR, are they so afraid that someone is going to anonymously bash their writing!? (Whether or not it's true that their excuses are what actually happened)!. Why does it even matter!? Why cover it up!? Their constructive or rude and uncalled for critisism won't hurt you if you use it!. And if you use it, it is a most valuable tool!.

Is anyone else a little peeved at this!? Or do I just need go to bed because I'm clearly delirious due to sleep deprivation!?

It is because we're afraid of being judged (at least in my case)!. We don't want people to think that something they consider awful is our best work!. I wouldn't lie, though!. And I personally (here's that fear of being judged again) have never written the kind of note you're talking about on this website!. I have occasionally given an apology for my lack of authority on the subject for an answer, but I honestly am sorry about the possibility that I might be wasting someone's time, and I don't want someone to assume that my answer is correct when I'm not sure of it!.

What annoys me is, it's hard to find anyone who will say there was something they didn't like when criticizing writing and actually be helpful!. I put a poem on here (I probably should have phrased the question differently from "how do you like my poem," but I did ask for constructive criticism in the details), and the in the only answer that didn't say something to the effect of "I like it" someone went to the trouble of composing their own little hate poem without once saying what specifically bothered them or why (my older sister then bashed this person - I didn't tell her to, just so you know!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's something people say when they want to cover up any possible flaws while at the same time making it sound even better if it happens to be good!. They usually don't do it on purpose to be tricky, but because they're insecure and maybe have been judged harshly in the past!.

It annoys me too, but what can you really do about it!? The best thing to do is critique those people the same as you would anyone, neither bashing their work nor giving them extra praise!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do see what you mean, but there are plenty of people out there who have very little, if any, self confidence!. Perhaps their families don't want to read what they've written, which is a shame, and after all, we all need encouragement from time to time!. also, people don't realize just how difficult it is to get published!. It's bloody hard work writing, after all!. And there are ways of being critical without being rude or unpleasant

I think we all get annoyed at things that sometimes don't matter so much to anyone but ourselves!. It's healthy to recognize that and then beat the crap outta something! I have a thing with people that apologize for something they obviously aren't sorry for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try and just read the answers and not whether people who answered were tired or wrote it in 20 min!. etc!. What difference does it make!? Isn't the most important thing that they took the time to answer!? Don't sweat the small stuff!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wow!.!.!. I ask people to be nice about their criticism!.!.!. Does that count!?I see your view on it, but, I also see theirs, Www@QuestionHome@Com

i feel that way too!. people like that either do that for attention or because they care so much about what other people think (even through the internet) so they try to make themselves look less patheticWww@QuestionHome@Com
