Question: What does this quote tell you about Jane's character!?
"Beyond a doubt, they do wish him to choose Miss Darcy,” replied Jane; “but this may be from better feelings than you are supposing!. They have known her much longer than they have known me; no wonder if they love her better!. But, whatever may be their own wishes, it is very unlikely they should have opposed their brother’s!."

also, what does she exactly mean by the last sentence!? Overall I think this proves her low self-esteem and little confidence!. Am I right!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that it shows her good faith in others more so than low self-esteem and little confidence!. The "better feelings" that she refers to means that they know Miss Darcy and her character, and that they approve of her (sorry, I don't remember who "they" refers to!.!.!. Miss Bingley and who else!?), rather than they're opposed to Jane!.

The last sentence means that Jane thinks that it's unlikely that they disagreed with Mr!. Bingley!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Idk what book it's from but i think she is more of a, you know, a person how doesn't think that they are going to get something (or whatever) just because they signed up (or whatever)!. She knows were she stands, i suppose you could say!.
