By modern, I mean in the last 10-15 years, preferbably suitable for a teenage or young adult audience, but anything is appreciated!. I've read most of the classics, so please don't mention any!.
& PLEASE don't say Twilight, I've already read it, & quite frankly am annoyed at the bombardment of questions I've seen about it!. Her book Sirens call is about a deranged stripper who turns her male clients into furniture around the house by using their bones!. She sizes them up according to her decorative needs!. Her vampire novels are equally fascinating!.!.!.check them out! Mary ann used to give me advanced copies, they are very scary and deranged!.Www@QuestionHome@Com "The Book of Lost Things" by John Connolly!. The writing style is absolutely beautiful and the story is a fairly simple and universal coming-of-age/quest sort of thing!.
