Eragon is the best dragon book ever, by Christopher Paolini!. Its a typical last-dragon-rider-must-save-world type thing, and its alot like lord of the rings!. Eldest is book 2!.

The Enghanted Forest Chronicles is about dragons, by Patricia C Wrede!. The books are Dealing with Dragons, Searching for Dragons, Calling on Dragons and Talking to Dragons!. They are my fave younger people type book!.

Theres always the Dragon riders of Pern series!. Those are most peoples prefered dragon series!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Okay!.!.!.this book is geared towards children but I'm an adult & I absolutely love it!.!.!.Dragonology!.

I also suggest Dancing With Dragons by D!.J!. Conway!. I have not read it but I have two of her other books, Magickal Mystical Creatures and Magickal Mermaids And Water Creatures, both of which I found to be very interesting and informative!. They do delve into a little magick but they also give a lot of historical information on the subject matter!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
