And Voldy set so much store by the Prophecy that he thought Harry was the only one who would ever be able to kill him!. He thought he was now invincible, and no one would be able to touch him!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I think he released Nagini from the orb because he THOUGHT he had killed Harry--his biggest threat according to the prophecy!. also, Voldemort thought HE was the owner of the Elder Wand - the wand that would always win battles for its owner--so he had nothing to fear--if anyone were to attack him or Nagini, he would simply use the Elder Wand to defeat them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com He thought he had already won; he was lulled into a false sense of security!.
