Question: Breaking dawn if you haven't read it don't read this!.
How did you feel about the book!? Personally i was disappointed but i would like to know how everyone else feels about it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have TWO opinions for BD!.

[1]
I thought it was fab!.
+Noone died, aside from Irina, which was my 2nd most devestating concern!.
+Jacob is happy, and still remains a part of Bella's family!.
+Bella turns into a really awesome vampire/ends up with Edward (my first concern)
+We got some action, though admittedly-- and regrettably-- not much!.
+There was more detailed info on vampires and the Volturi

There was enough events in the 4th book to be stretched into 2 books, though!. Well, at least, that's what I believe!. There are still things that I wanted to know more of!. If anything, it felt like everything was being!.!.!.!.rushed!. I didnt like that very much!.
In some ways, I think the book could have been better!. I'm not really sure how!.!.!.!. but I think it could!. Still, it was a very good read and it made me happy when I finished reading it!.

One thing that I know I did not like about Breaking Dawn was the lack of individual characterization!. I felt that I didnt really know the characters, compared to the last books, and that's what really draws me in the most!.

I was expecting to love it!. I was prepared to like it!. I was not ready to want to return it to the bookstore!.
it just seemed to fanfictiony for me, and frankly, i think i've read better fanfiction!. I felt like I suddenly didn't know these characters, especially Bella!.
And I just couldn't take the name 'Renesmee' seriously!. It was too much like what a stupid immature pregnant teen would name their child!. I was never quite sure if Bella was joking when she said the middle name was 'Carlie'!. Unfortunately, she was probably serious!.

I must say that I'm glad Bella and Edward got married and Bella was changed, but the whole pregnancy storyline just had me rolling my eyes in disbelief (this had to be some sort of twisted joke right!?), especially since SM had ruled out this possibilty with the way she created her vampire universe!. I'm ok with weird things, but I just don't like inconsistency within a universe, albeit an imaginary one!.

Then a zillion characters were introduced and I just started feeling lost, especially added to the anti climactic ending!.

also, am I just a pansy, or was this book ridiculously over-graphic compared to the others!? I mean, I'd be embarassed if my mom read it, and most of the other girls at the midnight release where 12-13 year olds! I personally don't think they should be reading this book!.

Was there anything else I liked!? Oh yes, Seth rocked my socks, and Jacob's thoughts could be pretty funny!. and I must admit, I was immensely entertained!.

Summary: It wasn't what I expected!. o___oWww@QuestionHome@Com

I was disappointed!. I expected to read and fall in love with the book, but it was kind of a let down!. Don't get me wrong I liked the book, but for me it just wasn't up there with the other books in the series!. To me it was too rushed, the wedding and honeymoon were a blur, and other parts of the book just felt under developed!.!.like SM was trying to do the plot from two books in one!. And "Renesmee" seriously, of all the possible names!. I don't usually fault a character for their name, but every time I'd read it I would concentrate more on how much I hated the name rather than the actual character which I didn't mind that much!.

Something that bothered me is that it seemed very fan fiction to me!. The characters weren't themselves!. Bella went from being moderately mature, to a completely different, very whiney character!. It also felt fan fictiony because everything was too perfect!. Bella turns into a vamp with no self control problems and a very convenient power which she masters in just the knick of time!. Jacob was bonded to her daughter so they could all be one big happy family!. The Volturi come, and there’s no epic battle, but rather they talk it out and go home!.

But…now that I’ve ranted about what bothered me here’s things I did like

I did like that we got to see inside Jacobs head, and see more about how the pack functions!. Seth was also great!. I was happy that Bella and Edward got married and that Bella was changed!. I enjoyed it in general, but it just wasn’t as good as the others, to me at least!.

My friends and I think it should've been two books, the first up to about the time Jacob imprints and the rest would be another book!. That would have given her the time to give the details that were missing!.

I was quite happy that Bella wasn't so whiney and such a brat in this book!. Being married and turned seemed to give her the confidence she was missing and she matured some!.

I liked the book a lot but Eclipse is my favorite!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

i absolutely loved it! it tied up all the loose ends and finished the storyline quite nicely!. admittedly, there was enough story there to be put into two books, but i think that she did well putting into just one!. it's my favorite out of the series, followed closely by the others!.
i was glad that there wasn't a fight with the volturi, not out of fear of a tragedy, but it shows how vulnerable they are!. aro was actually scared of bella!. it was a turning point for them as the "royalty" of the vampire world!. the met their match and by backing down it showed that they aren't as strong and sure of themselves as they seem!.
i loved renesmee carlie's name!. i thought it was awesome of bella to bring together both sets of grandparents' worlds!. that's essentially what nessie is, a mixture of the human (renee and charlie) and the vampire (esme and carlisle) world's!.
i think she wrote the characters well!. we got to see a new side of rosalie and edward, made especially awesome through jacob's perspective!. we learned more about seth and leah!. and got to see that jake was more than just a lovesick pup!. and i thought the introduction of all the other vampire's was awesome! i didn't have a problem keeping track of them at all!. and learning about all the other abilities out there!. as well as showing that vampires are everywhere!.
there were a lot of things that surprised me (nessie, jacob imprinting, the volturi backing down, etc, etc) and was very engrossed in the book!.
the goal of it was not to make you love edward more (that wasn't the goal in any of them)!. it was to tell the ending, tie up the loose ends and bring a sound conclusion to one of the best sagas of our generation!.
bella was different because she learned more about herself!. she realized what it felt like to love someone passionately but not romantically (nessie) and that changed her perspective on everything!. she realized that she could survive and she finally figured our, unalterably, what and who she wanted!. she got stronger and pulled herself through!.
in conclusion, i loved it and it's currently #1 on my list of favorite books!. :)

ps-sorry this was so long winded, i tend to get that way about this saga! lolWww@QuestionHome@Com

I loved it, surprising, and it tied up all the strings!. It could have been longer, showing how Nessie grew up, and if they got anymore visits from the Volturi and maybe they could have moved and I would like to see what all the students at the next school feel about them!. But, that's just my opinion!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was pretty disappointed that there was no major fight scene, and the ending was way too perfect!. I still like the book overall though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think she should have made it into to books and i wish she would have talked more about what happened after the fight with the voultri!. I'm sad that the series is over :[ Www@QuestionHome@Com
