Question: I writing a book, does anyone have any tips!?
Ok my story is about this girl named Vanessa who lives in St!.Louis, Mo when a new kid comes to town!. He is super cute and all the girls have fall-in in "love" with him, and the guys have man-crushes on him!. They become friends and kind of start to date!. And the guy, whose name is William, is from the 1750's!. His fiancée has a witch and placed a curse on their wedding rings because she was going to be burned at the stake, the curse makes any girl who wears her ring, and meets William fall in love with him, and vice-versa!.

I know it sounds a little like the book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, but when you are addicted to a book, you tend to get inspiration from it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It sounds like your getting the basis of your idea together very well!. But one thing you might want to do that will help you is flesh out the plot and get to know your characters down to their favorite colors and their worst fears!.

Take out a piece of paper and map out the plot!. Write down the points of your story that move it from beginning to end!. It'll give you the basic map of what happens as you write!. Trust me there's nothing worst then sitting down at your computer and saying!.!.!."Gee what happens now!?" It make you want to smack your head on your desk!. When you have the basic skeleton then you can flesh it out with all the small little details that makes it your own!. also, ask yourself what your character's inner journey may be throughout your story!. Are they going to learn to become more independent!? Maybe they gradually learn to trust people!? Or what if their final task is to over come their greatest fear!?

I hope you find every right word when it comes time to jot the story down!. Inspiration comes from everywhere, even the places you least expect!. If you ever find yourself at a writer's block, don't get discouraged! Look for new inspirations, ask yourself "What if this happens!?" and see where it takes you!. Good Luck with your story!.

im in the same boat, it sounds like your doing great already! just make sure you keep the readers engaged at the beginning, especially the first sentence! and if you can keep it kind of mysterious until the right part itl be a great read, good luck and let me know how it works out!Www@QuestionHome@Com

that book sounds like it is really planned well! The only advice i have is to not start off the beginning boring, otherwise people won't read it and you might not be able to get it published!. GOOD LUCK!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ok well i personally do not think it is that much like twilight!. I think it sounds good!. This is my tip if it is a chapter book end each chapter with a question to make your reader want to read more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I personally love the story idea
It doesn't sound like Twilight at all the only same concept is the falling in love with someone who isn't from their own time period
Good luck writing
