Beneath all the bloodshed and mystery of Harry Potter, there still lies deep family ties between ‘Proud, Prejudice Pure Bloods’ and their ‘blood traitor relatives!.’ Some of the strongest ties stay with Tonks and her parents!. Let us not forget that Tonks is the niece of Bellatrix Lestrange!. Tonks's mother was Andromeda, and Andromeda's sisters were Narcissa and Bellatrix!. This is where it all comes clear!. When Narcissa married Lucius Malfoy and Bellatrix married Rodolphus Lestrange, Andromeda married humble Ted Tonks!. So, Andromeda chooses to stay on the good side when her sisters run off and become evil! You can imagine the kind of hate Bellatrix must have had for her niece!.!.!. Tonks was the daughter of her [Bellatrix] sister, and her sister was the 'filthy, dispicable blood traitor!' Bellatrix really loathed poor old Tonks!. And then during the Battle of Hogwarts, she killed her!. Tonks, according to Bellatrix, was a blotch on her family tree!. I mean, she thought the same way about Sirius, who was her cousin (and she killed him too!) I just think sometimes though… if Narcissa and Bellatrix had not married two Muggle hating men, would they too have stayed on the good side along with Andromeda!? But poor Andromeda!. Her husband Ted was killed by Death Eaters, her daughter Tonks died in the Battle of Hogwarts, due to the one and only Bellatrix!.!.!. and then she's left to raise the child of Tonks and Remus!. But I still feel for Tonks ;( I was so upset when she died, along with Remus!. I'll always remember her and her family, and the many other innocent who lost their lives at the hands of Voldemort, Bellatrix!.!.!. and her Death Eater cronies!. -TimWww@QuestionHome@Com =O You know what - I never noticed that! I possibly feel more sorry for Andromeda though - poor girl lost her favourite nephew, husband, daughter, son-in-law and was left on her own to raise her grandson!. Hopefully the family's bad luck ended with Tonks and Remus - I hope that Teddy has a long and hapy future ahead of him!. Rowling viewed Bellatrix and Tonks as each other's counterpart!. They were the most prominent female characters for each side of the war!.
