she did that interview on EW and basically called all the twilight fans liars, and that they dont have enough mental capacity which makes it so easy for them to get over things and love them!.so why do u still defend her!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just because you don't like her book doesn't mean you can hate the person!. I also believe that you're reading (hah) way to much into what she says!. I think you're only starting this b/c the fact that you didn't like the book so now you want everyone against her!.

I agree with the first answer!. It seems to be the hobby of many people to watch interviews and twist the comments made!. I don't know Stephenie Meyer as a person, but I assume she wasn't trying to offend her own fans!.

I love her book series!. I can't say I love Stephenie Meyer, really, but as she did write Twilight and its follow-up novels, I respect her!. I don't believe many Twilight fans "love" SM!. They love Twilight; and thus defend the author!.

Whether she intentionally disrepected her fans or not is up to the individual to decide!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you were reading way too deeply in her words!. It was just an interview, and she was probably trying to be modest, and people are just twisting what she says!.

It happens all the time with directors, actors, and authors!.

I enjoy her work!. I know very little about the author!. I think that's how most people are!. They don't go around idolizing her - they simply love the Twilight series!.

This is a stupid topic, really!. People need to get over it!. If you don't like her work, or her as a person, that's your right!. There's no need to keep harping on about it, though!.

I don't love the author-I really don't care who writes the books as long as they are good!. I think hers are really creative and unique-The only other vampire books I have read are by Ann Rice!. I am not sure why she would call her fans liars-what are they not telling the truth about- Can you post a link for the interview!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
