Would you recommend The Host!? What books would you recommend to someone who is into fiction!? What books would you recommend to someone who is into realistic-fiction!? I don't read much realistic fiction!. I have alot of fiction though!. I only got the Host because knew Stephenie Meyer wrote it!. I overall thought it was really really good!. It was one of those can't-put-it-down books for me!. However, it took me about 50 pages to really understand what was going on!. And those fifty pages took me a month to read (I read Twilight in 2 days if that tells you anything) because I was frustrated with the science fiction plot line and way of life and had trouble understanding what's going on!. I say that if you're going to read it, then don't expect to read it in one sitting and give it a chance!. Don't give up when it gets too hard!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I have not read the Twilight series but my 12 year old daughter and all her friends are into it!. My daughter is a huge fan and found the fourth book as an e-book, downloaded it and read it basically in one sitting!. She loves it and has been inspired to write vampire stories, and often chats about the books with her bff and on Multiply!. I would also recommend "Summerland" by Michael Chabon, "A Wrinkle in Time," by Madeline L'Engle, and oh all sorts of things to read for fiction!. It depends on the interest of the individual!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It took me forever to get 100 pages in, it seemed really long!. Someone told me after 200 pages that it picked up!.!.!. so I kept reading!. It really didn't pick up for me until after 400 pages!. I love sci-fi, but I love secondary genres, like romance and action, like what Twilight had!. This one was almost completely sci-fi, some romance and a touch of action!. For me, it was okay!. I'm not sure if I'd reread it any time soon, but I recommend giving it a shot :)Www@QuestionHome@Com I read The Host, by Stephenie Meyer, and I think it's amazing!. I really recommend you read it!. It's a little slow at the beginning, but it gets better!. It took me about two weeks to read the first half, but I read the second half in just a few days!. Read it!.
