I finished reading it a few months ago, and it was REALLy GOOD! It was a lot better than I though it would be!. I'm 16, and I heard that everyone who's a teenager has to read it!. It's basically about this 16/17 year old dude named Holden who drops out of a fancy prep school in New York, and roams New York city!. The whole novel takes place in like 3 days time, and it just describes people he meets, things he does, and stuff he's learned!. It's really interesting!. It was written in the '50s, but it sounds very modern, and the language isn't difficult at all!. It has a lot of humor, swearing, and sex-related stuff, which I think definitely make the novel more interesting!.
