Question: Can anyone identify this children's book!?
It's a book I remember from when I was a child, with quite an odd story-line!
It was about a horse, I think he might have been named Stanley!. He goes up onto a hill for some reason, and somehow gets turned into a pebble!. Then he has to stay there all winter because no one can hear him calling out (because he is a pebble!)
He gets changed back somehow, and I think maybe he becomes a horse on a carousel!.

WAIT!! I read a story where there was some animal who collected pebbles!. Then he finds one that is acctually a wishing pebble but i dont think he knows then he wishes he was a pebble and he bcomes a pebble!. Then a yr later or something their parents went for a picnic!. The mom sees the wishing pebble and she was reminded of her son who loved pebbles and she wishes he was there and then he comes back!. I was like in KG!!!! or ur talking about that little kid show on PBS what was it called o ya dragon tales!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
