Question: If you could be in any fantasy book!.!.!.

which fantasy book would you like to live in, and get out of the harsh life called "reality"!. And can you suggest books with epic fantasy story lines, lush worlds and epic fight scenes, love, lust and brave women characters!.

I think I would choose to live in Middle-earth, from Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings!. Middle-earth simply sounds like a wonderful, unique, exciting place in which to live!. And if I could choose a specific place in Middle-earth in which to live, I think I might choose the Shire; the Shire just sounds like such a fun and friendly place in which to live!. And who wouldn't want to live in a nicely furnished hole in the ground!?

However, thinking further into it, if I did live in Middle-earth, maybe I wouldn't choose one specific place in which to live - I think I might be an adventurer/traveler!. I don't think a person would ever run out of places to visit in Middle-earth!. also, I would simply love to meet each and every one of the characters created by Tolkien!.

That being said, if you haven't read Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, I highly suggest you do so if you are looking for a fantasy series that has epic adventures and battles, has love and bravery, etc!.

I would be one of the Faellem from Ian Irvine's The View from the Mirror Quartet!. Not only are they are a brilliant and complex species, with many dark secrets and haunting mysteries, but they are powerful but choose not to use their power!. I would then be Faelamor (with a sex change, though)!.

Ian Irvine's world(s) are beautiful and entertwined with many histories and cultures that constantly conflict, along with four separate species from three different planets, all of which want to get back to their home or simply get away!. Oh any of the greats really!. I'm currently reading Feist's 'Magician' and that'd be a good world to be in!. Other worlds would be those of Williams' 'Memory Sorrow & Thorn' (that's a suggestion for you, in my opinion it's the best fantasy work I've read, and I've read a lot; it's epic, superbly written and is a sheer joy to read), Douglas' 'Battleaxe' books (that has two main women characters, both of which are brave, and one of them you feel so sorry for throughout the book yet admire her resolve)!. I love the idea of being in a world where wars are fought with swords etc and honour is a priority!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
