Question: Does anyone think The Host is like the book series Animorphs!?

The Animorph books are a series where aliens are invading humans mind and these kids are trying to stop them!. Isn't that what happens in the Host people get taken over by aliens!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Basically!. I just finished reading The Host today!. I found it phenominal, it was just incredibly rich!.
I guess, from your description, yes, it's kind of the same!.
But Stephenie Meyer took it and reversed it, added lots of description, and made the book fantastic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, and it's freakishly like a LOT of other sci-fi books/series out there, but you see, The Host has 'heal!.'
The Animorphs did not have 'heal!.'
And therefore, it is original enough for an amateur author like Meyer to think it can get published and her publishers were intelligent enough to realize that Meyer's many fans would buy it simply because it had her name on it so they published it anyway!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
