I am 48 and have got a collection of young adult books that I am reading and have read!. I don't care what section they are from as long as its a good read! I hate soppy romances in the adult sections which there seem to be loads and I also don't like the true life abuse type books that there seems to be a glut of too!.

It's fine for a 30 year old to reach books which are designated young adult!. Afterall, the very people writing these are usually *over* 30!.

It shouldn't be all the person reads, but there's nothing wrong with them picking up a young adult novel and giving it a go!.

Books are classified similar to movies and televisions shows!.!.!.it is broken down to what they think is age appropriate!.!.!.so anyone can enjoy any children's' movie without looking weird!.!.!.there is absolutely nothing wrong with going in the youth section and getting a book!.!.!.honestly they have decent books in that sections!.!.!.!.many adults still continue to read them even when they are older!.!.!.!.so go on and enjoy good Readings!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think a 30 year old IS a young adult!. Not like the under 18s of course, but there is nothing wrong with you reading a book from that section!. I'm 29 and I love reading Harry Potter and my wife's Twilight!. I will not admit this in public, mind you!!!!!

I'm 21 and I read a few young adult novels!. Then if I think they're good I have my mom read them!. And she's 53!. I especially loved the Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray!. Great series!!!

There really isn't anything odd about an adult reading young adult books!. Many of us do!. All the suggested age does is indicate that they were written with young adults in mind, and the content is suitable for them!. That's it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
