Imprinting is a sudden thing, where you fall in love with someone even if you are in love with someone else!. In essence, the person you imprinting on is your soul mate!. Basically it means that Jacob fell in love with the baby!. Bella's baby (which is atrociously named Renesmee)!! As in, the baby of the woman he was in love with! Gross! I guess I can say that it makes sense, but it's still gross considering that when he was in love with Bella he's kissed her and (obviously) wanted something more from their friendship!. I guess I'm obligated to say that when a werewolf imprints, it means that he will be anything he needs to be for his soul mate!. In Renesmee's case, Jacob is her friend and protector; he's not horny for her !. !. !. yet!.
