what do you think the deeper meaning of the conflict between jack and ralph is!?

The reason that Jack and Ralph are fighting is because of the desire that they both have for power and leadership!. And that's alright if you don't understand it because it's not that great of a book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its a fight between law and order(ralph) and dictatorship and sadism(jack)!. if you notice, ralph is putting everyone else first!. he works to help the whole group in their efforts to get off the island and be sanitary whereas jack simply wants to have fun, ignoring the efforts to leave the island
