There isn't any action!. The book was anti-climatic!.

The Cullen't didn't call their friends in Eclipse because at that point in time they didn't exist!. Smeyer invented them in BD because she had to make her plot work somehow, and since she'd already invented a ton of things before that part of the book, she figured it wouldn't hurt to invent a few more!.

Another question!.
HOW did Carlisle not know about Nathuel or whatever his name was!? He's like 500 years old!. How could he never once have heard of him!? How could the Volturi not have heard of him!? The Volturi-- the "police men" of vampires-- and Carlisle didn't know about them, yet Alice managed to find him in a month even without her vision!? Yeah, that's totally believable!.

Why didn't Alice see Bella getting pregnant!? She can't see Nessie, but she could have seen the blur!. And she did check on the honeymoon!.

Werewolves imprint on whoever is the best genetic match for them to pass on the wolf gene!. Jake imprints on Nessie!. Yet Nessie shouldn't be viable because her parents are different species!. Take mules and ligers, for instance!. They are a half breed!. They can't reproduce because they're parents had different chromosomes!. So logically, the same should apply to Nessie!. So, an infertile vampire girl is Jake's best chance at passing along the werewolf gene!? Hmmm!. Makes sense!. *Rolls eyes*

Not to mention that it's impossible for Edward to have sperm, or DNA!. DNA codes for proteins, which Edward doesn't need or use!. Hence, he needs no DNA!. Hence, he has no DNA in his sperm!. Plus the boy is DEAD!. Sperm are live cells that are constantly being replaced!. If he's dead, why does his body have live cells!? Why does his body continue to produce cells!? Why does a male vampire's sexual organs continue to work, yet a female's doesn't!? Yes, female vamps can't be preggo!. That makes sense!. But if a male vampire's sexual organs work and function the way they did during life, why isn't the same true for the female vampires!?

And does she honestly think I'm going to buy the fact that Carlisle has not once in 500 years checked his sperm under a microscope!? He apparently checked out Jake's DNA, so why wouldn't he attempt it on his own!?

Because they didn't really have enough time in Eclipse to call all said vampire friends, but they did ask Tanya's family, plus they had the werewolves and that was enough to handle the newborns!.

Renee' is in Florida happy, and completely oblivious living a perfectly peaceful life with her new husband Phil!. At one point in the book Bella specifically said that she didn't want Renee' involved at all with with the whole vampire/werewold/Charlie knows thing!.

There really wasn't a lot of action other than the intensity that they might be killed, there was practicing of skills, they had to kill wild animals when hunting, and when Bella almost killed Jacob cause he imprinted on Nessie!. I do agree though, there wasn't as much action in this book as there was in the others!. You'd half to ask Stephenie Meyer why there wasn't, though!. Hope this helps!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'll answer the questions that are actually legitimate!.

I don't think they were called because in this book they were simply required as witnesses and as Carlisle stated he didn't expect any of them to risk their lives!. If he had called them for the newborn outbreak it would have been calling them to risk their lives!.

Renee was never really that important in the series and after the first was really nothing so there wasn't a reason to give her too much thought in the 4th in my opinion!. Charlie was the one that would be living close by anyway!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the cullens didn't want to involve vampires with the newborns because it was a straight fight, and they couldn't ask their friends to fight for them!. also, they are not familiar with the werewolves (or the shape-shifters), and it would stir up trouble!.
in breaking dawn, bella breifly realizes later that she didn't want renee to be involved with what is happening to her, because she doesn't feel renee could accept it!. i guess the wedding for bella was like a good bye to renee, intially for both of her parents, but she realized later that charlie could handle it, and she wanted some connection to her past!.
sadly, there is really not that much action in this book as the rest have had!. the volturi was trying to pick a fight, but the cullens kept a good defense with words, pointing out that there really was no reason for a fight at all!. even if there was no action, the cullens had still scared the volturi with the side they had created (vampire friends, werewolves, the shield)!. I don't think the Cullens called those friends because Stephenie didn't invent them until she started writing Breaking Dawn!. i think she didnt come up with alot of stuff until she started this book!. and why are the werewolves now called shape-shifters!.!.!.is she trying to create a whole other set of mythical creatures that are actually werewolves!. because that's too confusing!.

I was wondering the same about Renee!. in the previous books Renee would freak out if she went 3 days without talking to Bella and she hadn't heard from her since the wedding in Breaking Dawn!. Renee is supposed to be the favorite parent!. and Charlie excepting the weirdness that is Jacob and the Cullens was complete bull!.

I have the same painful, annoying question!. WHERE the HELL was the ACTION!?! it still pisses me off everytime i think about it lol!. not one fight scene not ONE!! lol!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

okay the action is in three main points, one where bella had nessie, two was the ending war, and three was with jacob and edward!. throught out the entire book it was little things, like the wedding scene!.
Renee was out of it because Bella didnt want to bring all of that upon Charlie, let alone renee!. she would have stopped talking to bella
they pointed out all of that, it was a bit obvious about why renee wasnt in it
and about the other one there could be two answers
one, the simplist one, because stephnie meyer hadnt thought of that
two, the more obsesive answer
because why would the vampire help when it was against another vampire!. alot of the vampires there were only there because they didnt like the volturi
before the volturi had nothing to do with it
and also because they were only told to go the cullens house, they had no idea what was up until word started to spread aand they came on their own will
they had no idea why they were ther, they were just told by an old, deep freind that he needed help at his house, and so they went!.
and then they heard the story and fell in love mth nessie and wanted to get back on the volturi
and also,they did try to get other people, just not as many, they tried to get tanyas family and they had said no
and also they were helping old freinds they loved them, not wanted them to die
so thats that

They didn't call on the other vampires before because many of them wouldn't have come for a fight (most were only here this time to tell about the child), they did try Tanya's coven but she said no, and this fight was for the vampire government/rule makers - not a personal vendetta like the newborns fighting thing!.

Renee is still with her husband far away!. She thinks Bella is recovering from being ill!. I would have thought she might have come to see her daughter too but all this did happen very quickly!. Plus who knows the cover story they gave her with details!.

If you think about it the action was a given - the real shock was the somewhat peaceful end!. Plus there is always the next story!.!.!.

In BD they never asked their other vampire friends to come and fight!. They were simply there to witness!. The Cullens would never ask there friends to give up their lives for them!. That is why in Eclipse they didn't ask them!. Besides they new it wasn't completely neccessary like it was in Breaking Dawn!.

Renee is in Florida with Jackson as always!.

There was less action in BD but a book doesn't need violence to be good!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

FIrst the Denali clan wouldnt b/c of the wolfs and they would have to search for the others like they did in BD but they didnt have a month to do it like they did in BD so thats that and renee is in florida bella doesnt want to tell her anything b!.c she is too weak to accept it and there really was no action but why should there be do you think she should promote violence over a reasonable decisionWww@QuestionHome@Com
