It was said in the book that Remus and Tonks decided that Harry would be the best for the job of being GodFather to Teddy Lupin!. That was when Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dean, Luna, Olivander, and Griphook went to Shell Cottage with Dobby, but Dobby died!.

When Tonks and Lupin went into battle, I suppose Lupin knew that he could die in this battle, so he left Tonks out!. When Tonks came into the scene, she was looking for Lupin, probably not wanting him to get hurt!.

Ending up that both die in order to protect each other!.

In the Epilogue, Harry stated that Teddy practically lived over at his house at least 4 days a week or summat!. MEANING, Harry and Ginny took care of Teddy when they could, otherwise I will assume that the care taking for the most part would be of Ted and Andromeda, Teddy's Grandparents, if they were alive then!.

It is in the epilogue, Harry is Ted's godfather and he takes care of him!. He was kissing or snogging Victoire Weasley, who is Bill and Fleurs daughter!. In the chapter entitled "The Sacking of Severus Snape" Fleur asks Lupin about little Teddy!. Lupin replies that Tonks is with Teddy at her mother's!. I'ts never really spelled out but it seems safe to assume that Teddy would be raised by Tonk's mother!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
