Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Atticus is very open about his buisiness!. He's a modest man, and he doesn't put on any airs or pretend to be someone that he isn't!. When they say the he is the same in his house as he is on the street, they mean to say that Atticus does not change his personality based on the situation or environment; he is the same man in private as he is in public!.
