Question: Crime thrillers, authors!.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for good crime/thriller authors!. I'm currently reading Linwood Barclay's "no time for goodbye" which is brilliant, i don't usually like american authors for crime fiction but he is excellent!. My boyfriend is a big Dean Koontz fan so ive read some of his books which are also good but usually i read stuff by Ruth Rendell, Nikki French, Mandasue Heller, Martina Cole, anyone got anymore suggestions to authors similar to these!? hes more mystery!. there are twists that no one could have forseen!. hes a great author!. id definitely give any of his books a try but start with The Partner!. he's more to do with the law!.

James Patterson and John Sanford are both excellent writers! I suggest starting with "Rules of Prey"!. also Patricia Cornwell is a great writer!. Her main character is Kay Scarpetta, a coroner!. Start with "The Body Farm"
It's always nice to meet fellow thrill readers! FYI, Patterson edited a book called Thriller, which is a compilation for short stories in that genre!.

The Michael Connelly Harry Bosch series is really good!. Try to go in order when you read them, though!.
