Question: Gossip girl series!? Are the books the same as the TV Show!?

I've only read the first book and it's almost the same!. but that was just one episode!. so are the other books the same as the TV Show or not!? I want to read them, but if it is the same i probably won't!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. Never!. Definitively not!. The only thing similar to the books are the names of the characters and where the story takes place, even the actions of the characters have been altered in the show which differ drastically from what the actions were in the book!. The first episode would probably be the only similarity to the first book, but the rest is all up to the producers!. There's bits and pieces from the book that appear in the show, but besides that it's all up to people running the show!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, I have heard that they are quite different!. If they weren't different, though, the show wouldn't be getting as many viewers, for more people would know what would happen and there would be no "twists and turns!."Www@QuestionHome@Com
