$3!.99 or 4!.99 a month, I think!. You don't have to wait a half year or an entire year for it to be updated!.!.!. it's updated everyday!. You can search by genres that agents are interested in!.

Using used copies of agent books are dicey!. I used to try to get by with used copies, but it's a waste of time and, if you send something to someone who isn't accepting submissions anymore, a big waste of money!.

How do you know they're on the level!? If they ask for money upfront, then they are probably not on the level!. Real agents work for around 10 or 15% of domestic sales and 15-30% of foreign!.

You will probably have to sign a contract with an agent if they like you, probably for about a year, and they will almost certainly work with you as best as they can!. I mean, if you don't make money, they don't either!.

Most of the agents on Writer's Market have websites and, a lot of the time, lists of authors they have worked with and the authors' publishing companies!. You should send out queries in batches of 5-10, starting with the agents that you think look the best!.

The Writer's Market website helps you keep track of what you've sent and who you've sent it to!. You don't even have to keep paper records if you don't want to!.

Try this book!. It will help you with everything that you need to know!. It will tell you what the agent represents, what to send in to them, when to expect a reply, etc!.

Yes, it is a bit pricey, but you can get it used, if you can't afford that much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
