I ?love? "Ten Little *******" and "Halloween Party" !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
My favorite was And Then There Were None too!. I kept me guessing all the way till the end and even then i was like, wait!.!.!. what happened!? The movie is also pretty cool!. Agatha is really one of the most brilliant authors of her time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm italian, and i love Agatha Christie!
Today i have finished "curtains - Poirot's last case"!.
It 's a good novel, but the final is very sad!

My favourite novels are:
-Ten Little ******* (Dieci piccoli indiani in Italy)
-The murder of Roger Ackroyd (L'assassinio di Roger Ackroyd)
-Crooked House (E' un problema [in English: it's a problem])

Poirot is the best detective of all times: he's more intelligent than Miss Marple, and nicer too!. I love him!

I also read Halloween Party, but i don't liked it:
the story isn't very original!

Bye, and excuse me for my English!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Tough question; there are so many of hers that I love!. And Then There Were None, The Mousetrap, The Moving Finger, Sleeping Murder, Nemesis (but A Caribbean Mystery should be read first), A Pocketful of Rye, The ABC Murders, Murder on the Orient Express, Death on the Nile and The Murder of Roger Ackroyd are all among my favorites!. The only problem is that my favorite keeps changing!.

At this exact moment in time, my favorite is The Tuesday Club Murders!. It is a Miss Marple mystery story that is one entire story made up of 13 short stories!. It is supposedly a group that gets together, including Miss Marple, who tell each other mysteries and the other members have to figure out the solution to the mystery!. ***Slight Spoiler*** I remember that one of the stories is a murder that one of the members contemplates committing, and Miss Marple figures it out and tells the person not to do it!. It's really good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"The Mysterious Affair at Styles" (her first) is pretty good, as is the posthumously published "Poirot's Last Case"!. I do like "Cat Among the Pigeons" and "Third Girl", although for some reason the 50s and 60s settings seem more dated now than the earlier books!. "Five Little Pigs" has a great plot!. I'm still proud of having spotted the murderer and all the clues before the end of "Peril at End House" - it is very fair!.
But, for me, her greatest is the play "Witness for the Prosecution" - hardly ever performed now because of the cast size (it is about 25 - 30)!. That's a pity!.

By the way - "Trial and Error" by Anthony Berkeley is the cleverest and funniest detective story written between the wars I have ever read!. A much overlooked author!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is now called Ten little Indians - apparently that is not racist!
My favourite is 'Murder on the Nile'!. Best line: Inspector Poirot saying 'I'm Belgian,' when someone said he was French!. First picked up on this when I saw the film in Paris, (in French) with Peter Ustinov playing Hercule Poirot!. 'Madame, je suis Belge!.'Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is a tough choice!. I think if I had to choose just one it might be 'Hercule Poirot's Christmas', but I am also very fond of 'Cards on the Table' 'Murder in Mesopotamia' 'A Murder is Announced' 'A Caribbean Mystery' 'Towards Zero' 'At Bertram's Hotel' 'Mrs McGinty's Dead' 'By the Pricking of my Thumbs' among others!. It is actually quite difficult to pick just one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I loved " And then There were None", yes it was a non racist alternative to "Ten Little *******"!. I also watched the film, it was deliciously creepy!.

Have a great day
