on a Twilight Tuesday interview!.!.!.a question that was asked to Rob was "what do you think of the nickname R-Patz that fans are giving you!?" he said that he never really liked his name and he wanted something cooler!. so out of the blue he picked the name Spunk Ransom and ta-da!!!! there you have it!. here's the link to the interview!
