Question: Which book comes first!?: Sense and Sensibilty or Pride and Prejudice!?
I bought Pride and Prejudice yesterday at the bookstore, but when I got home I couldn't remember what book came first!.

So, what book should you read first, or is first in the series!.

also, are there any other books that go along with it, and if so, can you list them in order!?

Thanks in advance :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

They aren't part of a series!. They are two separate books, with two different stories!. It doesn't matter which one you read first -- they are both wonderful!

This is the order in which she wrote the books -- but again, the order doesn't matter in how you read them:

1!. Sense and Sensibility
2!. Pride & Prejudice
3!. Mansfield Park
4!. Emma
5!. Northanger Abbey
6!. PersuasionWww@QuestionHome@Com

If you want to read them in the order they were written, the order is:

Northanger Abbey, S&S, P&P, Mansfield Park, Emma, Persuasion!.

Though P&P might have been started before S&S was started, it was greatly rewritten to become the version that was published, and Northanger Abbey wasn't published until after Austen's death!.

The latter three works are generally considered a little more "mature", in the sense of the writer's abilities (not in the sense of there being steamy scenes)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Sense and Sensibility" was published in 1811, "Pride and Prejudice" two years later in 1813!. (Austen wrote both novels several years earlier!.) Each book stands alone!. You can read them in any order!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Skip Pride and Prejudice, I thought it was boring!. "S&S" is much better so start with that!.
The books′ contents are not connected in any way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not like Harry Potter! They are different stories about different people!. To be read in any orderWww@QuestionHome@Com

The two are stand-alone novels!.
