on the top toolbar there should be a "P" thing that looks exactly like the ones on each line!. Just click it and it SHOULD go away!.!. not sure cuz i dont have word right now so i can look at it but i hoped i helped!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The first guy nailed it!. What you're seeing are formatting marks, which you can get rid of by clicking the Paragraph button on the toolbar!.

But I can't help adding - are you seeing the paragraph marks at the end of every line!? If so, that means you're pressing Enter at the end of each line like you would on a typewriter!.

You shouldn't do that - Word will automatically wrap the text for you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you are referring to the show/hide button in Word!. This explains more:

It's just showing you where all the spaces and such are!. It'll have no affect whenever you print it!. It won't even show up on the page!. But if it is bothering you, you can use the toolbar to take it off!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, look at the toolbars at the top of the page!. You should see a symbol that looks like the P on the page!.!.!. just click that button and it should come offWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think you have changed something without being aware of it!. Try pressing the insert key and see if that removes this!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
